Waste of money I think...

Youd be better of with x900XT's in crossfire , probably save money too.

First line in product description:

"Featuring the industry?s first top-to-bottom family of PCI Express? products targeted for professional CAD, DCC, and Scientific applications..........."

Since when has any business oriented product NOT been a ripoff?

Anyway, looks like this is the line geared for CAD n shit obviously. Not sure what you do, but if its not something to do with engineering you might as well get a 'regular' video card.

The Quadro series is nvidia chipsets but with modifications and differnet drivrs to make them perform ideally for CAD/Rendering, etc. Its not a gaming card at all, but a high end business solution, hence the cost.

Yup.

There are ways to get different drivers to work on them as the chipsets are identical with just added features turned on/off. I've seen hacked drivers to enable and switch features on the non-quadro cards to make them render as well or near as well as retail quadros, and hacks to make quadros run games worth a damn if not more uber then the retail equivilant.

Speaking of WOW, I'm told you NEVER FUCKING PLAY.

Why did I join some lame OTD uild if our guildmaster is never around and AFOAF says 'ur'!

/cry
