Finding weird shit at the beach

While I was in south Florida for spring break, me and a couple friends decided to get high and go the beach. It was practically deserted, being 1:00 am and all, and we were just walking along, bullshitting, talking, etc, when I spotted a large object a few yards off.
I got closer to it and realized it was a large brown paper bag, but it was too dark to see exactly what was inside. None of us dared to stick our hands in it, and all I could see coming out of it were some floppy looking projections, like tentacles or something.
Of course I couldn't resist the allure of a mysterious brown paper bag, so I kinda gently kicked it until the bag tore open. It took us a second to figure out what the hell we were looking at, then it came together. Chickens, three of them, feathers, talons, and all (almost). They were, however, all headless.
In the bag also were a couple slices of coconut, and a couple shells I think. Some kind of santeria ritual maybe?
There's really nothing more to this story, it just made me think about the weird things people leave at the beach, how they get there, etc. Anyone ever find anything notable?

Do you live around NJ. I know there have been some headless birds found around there most specifically on the beach. From what Ive read theyve been found around a spot where satanic rituals are believed to be done.

I hate walking on the beach here, 'cause I see soooooo much garbage, and I get angry, and it usually ruins my whole day...

Was it anywhere near pompano beach? The haitians do their fuckin voodoo shit on the beach late at night out here man. I have friends who have actually been wandering the beach like yourself and seen some of their black masses or whatever the fuck they do. It's fuckin creepy though.

I've seen some fucked up shit on the beach around here.. (during non-summer days) rocks patterned in pentagram type designs, doors, things like that. Haven't found any headless birds yet tho

it was actually hollywood beach. Everyone I've told about it immediately said, "sounds like some santeria shit," so I just assumed it was. I know a lot of Haitians live in the area
It made me wonder if there were three chickenheads lying somewhere around

That would freak me out to find that, but yes that is most likely a satanic ritual thing. I would not want to see that personally, that would ruin the rest of my night after seeing that.

That's really dumb. If you care, pick it up. Otherwise, don't let it bother you.
I pick stuff up here because there's not so much. Just put it in my pocket and throw away later. If I was in the city or some place I didn't care about - who gives. It's just part of the environment.

I guess I didn't see you, you should've held the sign a little higher.
It wasn't really that type of spring break for me anyways...I grew up in south florida, I was really just down visiting my parents and some friends that never left.
The chickens were just a pleasant bonus!
