I guess I should clarify how my roommate makes them.. first she fries up some bacon until it is very crispy.. Then she leaves very minimal bacon fat in the pan.. after she boils the perogies for a few minutes she throws them in with the bacon greese.. she also throws some onion in there.. when all is done she sprinkles the bacon chunks on top of the fried perogies with the onion.. sour cream on the side

dojo? I remember you were giving me self defense advice a while back. What style of martial arts do you study again? How good are you? What are your membership fee's? I want to learn how to better defend myself.

How weird, the wife just made perogie's last night. It's something she used to have a lot as a kid growing up. I'd never heard of 'em. I didn't really like the taste, the ones we had too much garlic or something (which I don't like). The idea sounds pretty tasty otherwise.

The only way to eat them.. I loathe the pastry ones. They are the homosexuals of pierogis.

it really is! I never really liked the way mom made them when I lived at home.. try it some time.. I like garlic, but not with perogies.. even as a treat she will sprinkle shreded cheese on top and let it melt a little... though it is already a heart attack meal LOL

My grandma is Polish, but she never once made us perogies. She just talks about them all the time. The only perogies I've had were the store-bought freezer-aisle variety, vegetarian to boot, and they were still really really good.

mmmmmmm perogies are one of my favourite foods, we made a huge batch of homemade ones for little christmas, still have some in the freezer.
I boil mine too, mix them with bacon, a little bacon grease and onion, and then fry them till their crispy

*Pierogies have to be made by a burly old Polack woman named Olga, in order to be real pierogies.
All others are imitations.
Tasty imitations.

My grandma is Ukranian, she also makes some bomb ass perogies. It kind of weirds me out how many people don't even know what perogies are when they're right there in the frozen foods section.
I tried to make my own in Grade 7 but ended up burning myself pretty badly.

I love these things, actually I just finished eating them with onions. I like Mrs. T's brand, though I've always liked the different ones I've tried.

Man I feel bad for you bro you have been here so long and only have 2 shrooms and a shit load of rating what did you ever do to piss so many people off? I really can't remember one objectionable post of yours. I would rate you another five but I can only rate a person once
