In a closet, under a bed, behind something. If you live in a house there might be a closet underneath the stairs that would be a good place... Or an attic.

If your roommate doesnt want you doing it, then don't. If he is cool with it, and just wants it to be out of the way, then keep stuff in your personal closet with some blanks over anything you dont want people to see.
I dont know, I mean discrete is one thing, but there is no sense in trying to hide it from someone who lives there. I dont keep my shit in the living room, but there is no way I could hide that from my roommate (which happens to be my wife lol).

I mean if you think about it in the end all you need us totes. Just keep them in a closit nder your hanging cloths, if you have an outlet in there that's great for your tit and FC using a low wat. lamp. My roomate happens to be my fience as well, she dosn't mind as long as i keep it small and stop buying stuff hehe. My FC is a Rubermade snap on lid w/ polly fill and perlite. i just open the closit door during the day when we are at work, my tit is two of thoes 40 lb kittly litter containers, had a heat bomb but found another container on recycleing day.

This is my grow set up from the casual observer. In the drawers to the left I have clothes, but also, Alcohol Paper towels H202 Pots and pans Sprayer Sterilized casing mix...you get the drift. With a medium sized Tub in Tub set-up I have successfully completed my first grow stealthily without my roommate knowing a thing.

Im living in a downstairs apartment with my lanlords above me, I have access to a wood working shop so Ive designed a lockable chest that I can fit the FC and TiT Im making into. Should fit in nicely as a piece of furniture In my bedroom, which I bought a new door knob for so it locks also....Just be creative
Ive even seen old metal cased chest's at the a thrift store which can easily be modified with a lock. Just say its a storage chest, although you need to adjust to its size, which is limited. ...no one needs to know anymoe then that.
Good ideas everyone!

And also if you are growing it's always a smart thing not to get cops called so no loud parties and you should be fine.

I wouldnt recommend trying to lie/hide from your roommate...think about it frmo his point of view and how illegal this is haha. But yeah, try explaining it too him or get him to trip out on some mushrooms and have a nice trip. If you lie and hide it and he finds it, hes gonna be PPIISSSEED.
