Urgent South Carolina Question!

hey guys, I haven't been around since about this time last year; but the time of year for hunting in my area has come again and I am back to say hello . I'll be travelling to South Carolina, Myrtle beach (I live in MD) sometime next week and I need to know if anyone has had any luck hunting actives (I'm guessing cubes) in SC at all, or in the myrtle beach area. Any feedback that you guys may have for me would be most appreciated! I'm leaving soon!!

Myrtle beach area is prime. Check out cubensis cutter's posts over the last several months. Although I don't think he has found any since December. Still worth looking if you pass by any pastures on your vacation.

Last time I went to Myrtle Beach (November) there were mushrooms everywhere. However, my family was with me the whole time, so I wasn't able to check if they were actives. So the area is prime for growth, it just may take a bit of hunting to find some cubes...

well the problem with that is, xmush, is that I don't really want to go if I can't find actives. If it isn't a good possibility, I'd rather stay home and throw a party at the house while my parents or gone. But if I can get actives, I'd like to trip on the beach/bring some home...

I'm about 150 mi. inland. There is nothing growing yet. Coupled with the fact that it is way early, it's way dry. The mushrooms CC found were the last of last year's mushrooms. So, no, it is not likely you will find anything readily. If you have time, it's always nice to get out and go hunting.
