Good cheapish pressure cooker?

I'm a really new grower and twice now i've lost the jars that i've made to the green/blue contamination (the name escapes me), and as far as I can tell it's either coming from when I cook the jars (I don't have a real pressuer cooker, and the pot I had really didn't seem like it was working so well)... or from when I inoculate them (all the contaminations start growing after the mycelium does, on top of it from the inoculation sites.
So either, can someone point me to a good, but cheaper pressure cooker (I'm on a pretty low budget), or can somebody give me some idea of whether it might be innoculating that's doing the contamination.
Maybe there's some way I can test the inoculation procedure?

8 quart Mirro at Wal-Mart for $35-$40. It doesn't get much cheaper unless you serious luck out on eBay.

Second that, the little Mirro jobs are inexpensive and served me very well. I still use mine for LC's.

Nice Mindseye. Mirro are the Honda of budget pressure cookers. My old one just got a rebuild; handle, overpressure plug, and gasket--and got put back into service. Plan to have it for life as long as the parts are available. There is a sense of nostalgia that comes along with these reliable little pieces of kitchen equipment.

I used an 8 quart Mirro for the longest time. I finally broke down about 6 months ago and bought a 22 quart PC. You guessed it...it's a Mirro.
I love how we're just carrying on about the Mirro PCs and the guy isn't even on line.

Burpee The Arisotcrat Cooker

If you have any flea markets, thrift stores, junk dealers, etc in your area, check there first. Got this beast for only 10 bucks and has work about 15+ times without flaw!
