I doesn't sound like a contam or CO2 poisoning. What tek are you following? How are you innoculating? What temp are you incubating? Pics would help too.

I think he's trying to work some kind of super ghetto oven-tek lol. By the way the oven tek doesn't work. All it does is create more air currents.

?? Ya, but it keeps microbs from falling down on what your doing. keeping a steady flow pushes everything out from your product.

So why does he turn it down, defy, and mutalate his birth ground? why does he spread disease, murder his native animals, rape and torture his land, and still feel descent of who he is? live a life that is not true? excepts an artificial home?

I like the sound of that! Where do you get one of those? They sound like they would sterilize the shit out of anything!

Not really. http://www.shroomery.org/index.php/par/23395
It is also listed under "questionable teks" here. That tek is hit or miss and I think anyone who has had success with it just got lucky or has a very clean work area. A cheap glove box or a hepa flow hood are much more reliable.

haha^
The car sounds like a bad idea. Try cleaning your bathroom real well. Spray some lysol in the air, wait about 5 minutes, then head inside the bathroom and work in there. I do it all the time and have had no contam problems.

I inoculate in open air, no contams in jar yet.
I use a piece of foam about 1/4" x 1/4" and the length of the needle.
I dip the foam in alcohol.
Flame the needle, insert it through the foam.
It cools the needle and protects it against contams at the same time. The foam pushes up and out of your way when you insert the needle into anything. Then it slides back down along the needle as you retract the needle.
Contams never have a chance.
All this glovebox, flow hood, ghetto oven tek(laughable imo) are a waste of effort for innoculating.
Try this method out! You could even cut off the end of a kitchen spone and use that.
