Yeah, a tandem or static line jump would not only be better, in my opinion; it would also be safer.

I've done one static line and me an the wife each did our first two tandem jumps this past summer. I thought about taking some peyote but I'm glad I didn't.

Many, many years ago, I was tripping with one of my spoiled, rich cousins down in florida where they had an enormous country club style pool in their back yard. It was complete with a high dive and an area 12 feet deep for diving. It was my first time visiting them at that house and they had some decent blotter at the time. Well apparently they dosed damn near every day and made a ritual of doing this thing in the pool that blew me away. They had several lengths of plastic hose, maybe 3/4" in diameter and at least 15 feet long with a tapered mouth piece on one end. They'd use zip ties to fasten one end to the pool ladder and they'd use these hoses as big ass snorkels. They even provided me with nose plugs. I wouldn't want to be scuba diving while tripping, but just being able to float underwater for an extended period without coming into contact with any solid forms was amazing. I remember, we were underwater for at least 30 min. and I lost all sense of my bodily confines. I felt like I was the whole pool, I couldn't tell where my body ended and the water began.

I am an experienced diver and would never do anything like this. You would likely end up dead. Just eat some shrooms and go to the aquarium.

An aquarium is nothing like diving and shrooms are nothing like acid. I disagree you would likely end up dead, however if you think that way DO NOT DO IT. I understand the hesitation with the idea and I never said it was a safe thing to do. However, if you have respect and experience with both shrooms and diving and are willing to accept the risks then you are probably ok. I am not talking about tripping balls here, I am talking about taking enough to reach that threshold that would make diving an even more exhilirating experience.

Hmm, If going deep a very bad idea. If your in a shallow body, say 30 feet, it could be quite fun Id think. Take a friend and stay the fuck out of the ocean.

One of my friends who is obsessed with scuba diving and corals dosed 1.5 grams of cubensis before his dive in phoenix islands a few years ago... He said it was one of the coolest experiences of his life.

That's awesome. I am now making this my life goal. I did'nt think anyone was crazy enough to do it but now that I have heard of people doing it three diffent times I am gonna do it. But not with acid thats a little over the boundry for me. I think i'll stick with a low dose of shrooms.

yea sounds too dangerous to me. i'd probably freak out under there, not being able breathe right if i were tripping.

scuba diving is something that's so great you can enjoy perfectly well completely sober.

I think it'd be insane but i'd only do it with my friend who was sober. It'd be even cooler if you could pipe some music in somehow so you can listen to bob marely, cake, or something really chill while you float around.

I think it would be beautiful and if your an experienced diver I think it would be a great experience. A friend of mine who's an experienced sky diver, wanted to go sky diving alone while tripping off shrooms (I don't even think hes had them before). He asked me what I thought because I eat them all the time. I said it would prob be cool as hell and amazing, or totally opposite. But either way, no matter how the trip is going it would be very dangerous and a lot could go wrong, pulling the shoot and other problems such as landing, and that not even thinking about law. Well either way its a stupid idea unless ur strapped to someone who's going to pull the cord for you. Scuba trip sounds awesome though. But only for experienced scuba divers and sh roomers.

Thats part of what makes them such a rush :tongue2:

That'd be cool as shit to be strapped on to a trained sky diver after dosing shrooms.. But it wouldn't last very long.

I've been tempted to try scuba diving while tripping after a friend told me about his amazing experience doing this. I don't think I really have the balls to do it though. I definitely agree that it's quite risky and you could get yourself in the shit too easily.

Swimming around in the surf is a great experience while tripping. Snorkelling is another great idea that would at least give something close to diving without the risk. I'm definitely up for taking shrooms while snorkelling this summer.

A few times, I have smoked bud before diving, and I LOVED it. It was awsome and all but you really haft to be carful. There are so many things to monotor while diving... debth, time, air, your buddy.... Get any of these things wrong... and It can be your life.

smoking is a lot different from shrooming. I'm sure if you took only an 8th and tripped on a 1 or 2 you would be fine and it would be a beautiful experience however it depends on the persons personality and I'm positive that experience in scuba diving and with shrooms greatly effect the outcome on whether or not its to risky or not. I have never been scuba diving where you have a tank and wet suit, but have been snorkeling/diving in Florida and it was beautiful.

I think a low dose of acid would be great to go scuba diving on. I would want a sober and experienced diving partner, though.
