I put my first harvest in a ghetto decissant chamber for 4 hours then put them in convection over on 100 for about 45 minutes then fan dried them for 10 now their back in the ghetto desiccant chamber? Tommorow im going to cut it in half and then do convection again, the little ones seem to be like cracker dry already...

Can they dry in the desiccant chamber alone? I think its the calcium carbonate kind

Also i put it into my tupperware dessicator and now they are all extremely blue how come? my guess is the pressure from shutting the lid pushed air into the mushroom skin?

Well desiccant alone will work but will take freakin' forever! like 5 days or more! The best way I have found(other than a food dehydrator) is to place then on top of your computer monitor while leaving it turned on, this give them gentle heat and air exchange from the rising air currant. With this method Ive been able to get cracker dry shrooms in 24-36 hours. Also something to keep in mind is to break up the shrooms into equal sized pieces so they dry evenly. But in the long run, I would recommend an American Harvest "NESCO" dehydrator from wal-mart, cheap(~40), and as agar always says "toilet flush simple" gotta love that line!
