A few yellow blotches and white fuzz
    #5447685 - 03/27/06 01:54 PM (17 years, 10 months ago)

This is my first time growing.

These jars have been colonising for like over 2 months.

I'm sort of worried about these yellow bits, but I have read when in contact with water the mycellium can turn yellowy. Do you think that's the case?

It is rather wet inside the jars.

Also some have this more fine looking stuff is it maybe cobweb mold or just 'cos it's soggy?

I think the white balance is a bit off in the pics that stuff isn't quite so yellow in real life.

It looks like cobweb mixed with some bacterial contamination, those jars are super wet that invites contams.
