I graduated from college in June with a degree in English and American Literature, then I moved boxes around for Google's NYC office for about six months. Now I do data entry in Google's advertising department.
I was listening to Talking Heads' album More Songs About Buildings and Food this morning on my way here.
So think about this little scene; apply it to you life. If your work isn't what you love, then something isn't right. Just look at Bob and Judy; they're happy as can be, Inventing situations, putting them on T.V.

full time dad right now... trying to eventually get myself back to school.. maybe to become a teacher.. since I'd love all the time off (summer, winter vacation, spring break, etc).. and I'd like to make a difference in the world and help even just one kid realize they can think for themselves. I sorta need a job before then though, meh.

I'm somewhere between a prolonged sabbatical and retirement. I wanted to go into counterintelligence in the Army, but that is no longer an option for enlistees. Maybe I'll join as something else, but I am not sure yet.
I am also considering opening some sort of food related operation. Not a restaurant(not as my first venture anyhow), but perhaps a specialty shop. Fresh baked goods, sandwiches, salads, hard to get ingredients, etc. Maybe start writing a cookbook.
For tax purposes I am a "consultant".
