In case you haven't seen this Japanese Anime, it is amongst one of the trippiest and strangest animes I have ever seen in my life. Only 30 minutes long, this anime will take you through a bizzarre hallucinatory world of a young cat trying to regain his sister's soul from death.

If you can find it, from whatever means possible, please obtain it. It is a very good short animation.

I just watched that a couple days ago. The part where that creature walking the cat starts streaming in these wierd symbols into the cats head reminded me of a DMT trip. Awesome anime.

Wow just saw it myself. I wouldn't say its trippy, none of that has ever happend to me on a trip. But the idea of going into the workings of the universe is definitly trippy. Great movie!

Were you able to follow all the symbolism, and what was going on? Like right after I watched it I put it on again to try and figure it out. Like what was the whole deal with the earth being on the plate that God was about to eat next? I thought he just cracked open earth? And the metal world they go to in the end? And the metal butterfly? And ummmmm welp thats my proablem, I always want to understand everything. Oh yeah, what was the deal with the woman who had all those pices of cats she was sewing together?

Yeah, that anime IS awesome, but I get a little lost as to what does every detail mean, and that comes from a guy who knows a shitload about japanese culture!

I think it'd be great to watch on nitrous... 'cuse m, got a thing to do now :grin:

Hehe yeah I could see it being funny with ballons, ever seen Fooly Cooly? Funniest anime show I have ever seen, kind of reminds me of Cat Soup
