OTD is boring as fuck, so you come over here and kiss some ass. Go back. We did good this far, without you. We don't need some kickboxing loser to grace our presence. Thanks.

Spud
I went to University with that same pursuit of knowledge pop in my step but ended up leaving with nothing more then a foul distaste for academics and a pretty piece of paper.

Irvine, land of manicured lawns and over zealous police.
I grew up and lived in Irvine for my entire first 18 years, it's an incredibly nice place. Yeah there's parks everywhere, and lots of pools too (especially the Woodbridge area). Wonderful place to be a kid, I could wander the streets at anytime of the night or day and always felt really safe. With that you get a rather sterile enviornment, but once you're a little older you can always drive out to other cities to find some life.
The cops like I said are a little too into their jobs, it's so safe they often turn to busting people for things cops in any other cities wouldn't have the time for. People still laugh when I tell them I've gotten both jaywalking tickets and curfew tickets (can't be out past 10:00pm when you're under 18)
As for the college situation, my 2 cents is that you should take the time to finish that degree someday soon. If the companies that good they'll have no problem with letting you finish. My dad was in the same situation you are, left UCLA two semesters before he finished to start his career. Now he's approaching his late fifties and got let go from the company. Even with the amount of time and experience he has he's having a really difficult time finding a job. Companies are passing him up because he can't say he has a college degree, even though he has more more experience and skill than many of the other applicants. It's not that much work, and not doing it may haunt you later.
I don't live there anymore but I'm sure you'll enjoy the OC, welcome to some of the best weather anywhere in the WORLD, just try to ignore a lot the people : )
