Heat when Colonizing...

I innoculated 2 jars 4 days ago.. This morning I noticed one very small spot that looked VERY white.. Almost a pure white... Anyways.. What I was wondering is that I have a thermometer next to my jars. And on average its about 72 degrees.. If I put a heating pad uder my jars would the jars colonize quicker? Do I not exceed 80 degrees?

And for those of you who like to tell me to read the FAQ.. I did.. And still have questions.. If you don't want to answer me thats fine.. But give me a break, thats what these forums are for.. If I got the information from the FAQ I wouldn't be asking..

The PF tek says not to exceed 80 degrees.. And putting a heating pad under my jars probably would raise the temp to perhaps greater that 80 degrees..

Put a jar with a lid filled with water on your heating pad.
Wait a few hours and measure the temperature. Then you?ll know.
