1- Very good idea
2- Splitting an eigth should be enough for all of you, especially since you're all first timers (or you could be like, digest a whole eigth on your first time, and trip balls for half a day)
3- Depends on how you are

how old are you? Do you take any medication? are you a stable person? do you have any issues hiding in your subconscious? Are any of your friends experienced with mushrooms?
The woods are GREAT.

whats up, Well my opinion on your questions 1 - Some people do there first trips in woods/forests. I could not imagine being in the woods during my first mushroom trip. People might help but it really depends on the dose and how your mind handles it. It could be very fun one miniute, and then the next it gets quiet and you start thinking. Really only you know if its a good idea.
2 - Potency of Mushroom depends alot on this. My first trip was with a 1/16 of cubies and i tripped level 3 easy, maybe low 4. So i would say a 1/16 for each of ya. Or less if you dont feel comfortable with that. You can always eat more, cant eat less.
3 - Thats a question no one knows or can tell you. If there was 100% methods of not having a bad trips than no one would have them. Just dont let your mind get carried away with you and remember that you ate mushrooms.
Main thing is man, Have fun and let the good times roll man. Nothing can really prepare you for a mushroom trip except other psychedelics, and there all different so not really yah know. But have a good trip and make sure to let us know how it goes man.

The mushrooms will bring your subconscious to the surface so if you have issues hiding inside of you, this is when they come out. That is what people call a "bad trip"

Woods are a perfect setting IMO.
Tripping indoors seems like such a waste a times when the whole world is out there for you to explore.

1-hell yes the woods are perfect, if possiple get near any kind of water feature, that will make your trip chill out immensly if you start to have a bad one(I love trippin near water it makes me feel complete) 2- take a whole eighth, you wont die and thats all that matters. you dont wanna split it and just get a body high, i suggest you take a whole one and enjoy them mushies to the fullest 3-do you like yourself?

The first step towards having a bad trip is thinking you're going to have a bad trip... Feel confident and trust yourself and the drug and everything will work itself out in the end

1 The woods are perfect simply because there is nothing more natural than nature, if that makes any sense.
2 It's not the same, and yet it is...it's like I always said with LSD, why eat 1 or 2 and see pretty colours, when you could eat a 10 strip and see God! If you're gonna trip, trip, if you just want a cool buzz, smoke some hash. I would start with at least an 1/8 with each person.
3 As far as a "bad trip" well, you've already decided that for yourself. But try to look at it this way...there are no bad trips, so long as you can learn something from the experience...something you can "take home" with you. There are no bad trips. As far as issues hiding in your self conscience, for me, it was the tripping that brought me to the discovery that those issues existed, and therefore gave me the tools to fix them.
Having said all that...don't be afraid, don't pay any attention to any of the horror stories you may have heard, just have a good time, and try to see what you can see.
