I say florida or southern california

I'd go to (depending on what season it is) either some place in the SE or the PNW.

Hey man, I'm from Gainesville! I just tripped for the first time this month and I'm definitely wanting more. That's awesome that this is supposed to be the shroom capital of the world, though!
But when should I start hunting? It's been kind of cold these past couple of days, probably not good for shrooms...

I was just in Florida. Don't think it's about that time yet. Another month or so. But definitely florida is a hot spot for shrooms in US. Washington state in spring and summer as well.

In the mid 1960s, Gainesville was referred to as the Shroom Capitol of the World.
However, only two to three sherooms were found in Florida at the time.. Actually, the capitol of the world for shrooms is the PNW which have over 20 species of magic mushrooms available, some all year long.
Hell are local newspapers here always announce the mushroom season and here is a 150th Anniversary front page headline article talking about the magic shrooms here in the Seattle area.
