depending on the size on your mushies you can achieve cracker dry results in 12-24 hours... or up to 48. just lay your fruits on a bowl make the fan blow directly on them not more than a fet away and drape a shirt or something to keep your fruits from light and being blown away

are you laughing at putting them in the oven... it works, you just put it on the lowest setting, and then leave the door cracked open.. Must be too hard for your feeble mind to take in.

I would make a few calls to the stores and try it again, or broaden the area if you have to.

eat them all as soon as possible
by some damp rid .........its a dessecent found in housweres and cleaning supplies its used to get the dampness out of bassments ... put that in the bottom of a papper bag....put your shrooms in a container with a lot of holes in the bottom of it and put it in the bag theyll be dry in a couple days (u dont want the shrooms to touch the stuff)..get your dehdrator from ebay... make sure it has a thermostat so u can change the heat seting

That's desiccant, and it doesn't work like that. You need to use it in a closed container for it to work properly.
Either way, forget the dri-z-air and just go dehydrator.

actually buddy, Dri-Z-Air dehumidifier products help prevent condensation, mold and mildew from forming in areas that may be susceptible to dampness and moisture, such as items in storage or your window sills. Dri-Z-Air proactively removes excess moisture from the air and protects your belongings from damage caused by moisture. The crystals in the Dri-Z-Air dehumidifier container do the magic of absorbing the moisture from the air easily, quietly and conveniently.

You can read the product description all you want to me, but I'm still telling you that those mushrooms aren't going to dry any faster using it that way.
Fan dry, then to a sealed container w/ dry-z-air. Both at the same time will only keep you running to the store for more desiccant.

lol....well im sure your right but at the moment i just checked up on it and at the bottom there seems to be a grip of water already. i think if the desiccant does run out i will just keep the fan on it till it dries

Buy one from www.amazon.com or www.target.com. Either way it goes through Target. Costs about 65 bucks and if ordered now will be there around Tuesday to Wednesday of next week. Until then let them fan dry.
