The angle of my growing lights. Question

hello all, thanks for helping ahead of time
I bought the proper blue led light with a rating of 400 nanometers. I have 4 led lights per 30 gallon terrarium. I have the lights angled down on all sides of the tank. So my question is do the lights need to be on the top of the tank shinning directly down for proper growth? I would assume not since mushrooms aren?t dependent on the lights for growth like plants. Please only answer if you are 100% sure of the answer..

ps i wanted to add this to the record to clear up the blue light confusion
The ONLY lights that have been shown to work best with mushrooms are High Intensity BLUE LED Lights. You can get them at radio shack for 5 dollars each. I bought 30 today so I have the exact part number for you
Unless your blue light states something about nanometers its just another light your shining on them
Radio Shack 5mm Blue LED 3.7 volt,20mA, 2600mcd With a peak of 468 nanometers
I used 4 in each terrarium. This really seemed to help. I will be posting photos in my own post in a few days.

Got any documentation for this other than that one sentence in TMC that Paul himself won't even repeat? My experiments have all shown that full spectrum or even basic fluorescents work much better than short wavelength blue light. RR
