timer question

I am trying to figure out some ways to provide automated air exchange into my new greenhouse. This is what I am thinking: A small honeywell fan (just a normal fan) with its back flush against the venting of my HEPA air filter. I'll attach some ducting or hose or whatever to the face of the fan and stick the other end of the tube on the very top above the coolmist entries. Then I will plug the fan into a timer. First of all, do they make timers that could turn my fan on twice an hour for five minutes each time? If so what are they called? Secondly, and most importantly, will this setup even work or will contams definitely be a problem. I also have two coolmists (one is very weak) and one Honeywell Quietcare humidifier (max 60% humidity i think). What do you guys think?

You need a repeat cycle timer. CycleStats a good but be prepared to spend roughly $100US for one. They are ridiculously well built and reliable.
They can be found at hydroponic supply stores, with their primary intended application being the control of water pumps.

if you got yourself a little green house, then just buy a cool mist and hook it up into your green house. That'll provide Fresh air and Humidity. As for a timer, I'd get a 2 setting have it take a 30min brake ever 12 hours so your motor doesn't burn out.
