My current Heads obsession.
-------------------- Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake. -Erik Davis

Yeah, Talking Heads doesn't get much love 'round here...'cept from you and Adom, and he's gone now.
It's a shame, too.

I used to have selected TH tracks in my trip track list, but I've found better stuff to fill the time with.
I still like them on occasion though.
That track is okay, upbeat like most TH.

I thought he was rather bland in that clip... Space Ghost was way stranger and funnier. "I'm crou-tingly".

Yo Robot -- I will stand behind your Talking Heads any time. Hardly a day goes by without a little Heads played from my stereo. Listen to Burning Down the House and check out my tagline.... I'm representin'!
Every road trip for the last 3 years was always initiated with a bowl and "Remain in Light" cranked as we left town. I scored a number of bootlegged shows from FurthurNet a long time ago, too. Got any of them?

Arcade Fire covers Naive Melody.
You probably have it already.

I do, but thanks anyway.
I actually had a chance to see them at one of two spots on back to back nights and I picked the first night - that's when I told David Byrne he was awesome near the bar at the Bowery Ballroom. But the night I didn't go to, at Irving Plaza, David Byrne actually sang it on stage WITH them.
