On a whim I went to visit my cyan patch yesterday eve after this weeks rain only to find that it had ERUPTED with another fruiting. I took down three beauties on the spot and proceeded to wig.
I try to grab some pics tomorrow.
Game on!

Thanks for the head's up on this slab. I decided to take a look at a nearby Alameda County location, and there were actually cyans. In early Dec, this area had probably a few 100. Now there is a flush of maybe 25 or so, some quite past thier prime. Not bad at all. I haven't picked them yet, I plan to go back tommorrow.
I am normaly a lurker, and don't regularly contribute due to paranoia over security concerns, so I apologize if this appearing to be my first post makes others skeptical about this. I encourage others in the Bay to take a look at thier reliable spots.
Also, if anyone would find a pic of a flush in late March truly significant then I can snap some photos tommorrow. Its not my preference to do this, but I don't really know how significant this sort of occurence really is (this is my first year hunting), and I am willing to give back to the community by posting a few pics if thats of value.
best of luck everyone, thanks to all who make shroomery the valuable resource it is,

Well, I haven't been seeing them around (even checked one of my more productive spots in GG Park), but I've heard reports that Psilocybe cyanescens is still fruiting. That's consistent with last year, which was also super-rainy, well into Spring - I found some huge P. cyanescens in early March.
Has anybody seen P. cyanofibrillosa or other bluing Psilocybe other than P. cyanescens in the last month?

From south of San Francisco today. This is not a new spot, it's a spot I picked in January, and now it's fruiting twice. Still left baby ones too

in the one with 670kb the color and shape the mushrooms are growing in looks like a shaman doing a dance. or a warrior holding up his arms in some gnarly stance.

Those last two shots almost look like something you would see in Stamets' book.
