Mycobag ?

i had inoculated a mycobag about 2 weeks ago and theres some mycelium but the bag is not inflating and theres not much its in a straw based bag is this normal? its in a dark place thats hot and humid in the 80 mid 80s degrees.

hows the moisture content? is there any loose water in the bottom of the bag?

no im starting to think maybe its not humid enough. would injecting it with distiled water help?

I have 3 bags with myc and none of them are inflated. I think that they dont inflate until you fruit in them because the mushies create CO2 and that makes it inflate so with out mushies in there it shouldnt inflate. But I could be wrong im still new to this. its just what I think

mycelium creates co2 as it grows. to a certain point, excess co2 is helpful to the mycelium. Over a certain PPM of co2 will stop growth of the mycelium, hence the need for air exchange.

I think most of the bags now don't inflate. The filter material used now is different from what it used to be now that the mycobags can be sealed prior to sterilization. Ever since this change, I've noticed that the bags don't inflate like they used to.
