Is a slight fruiting temp. fluctuation a big deal?
    #5438948 - 03/24/06 04:59 PM (17 years, 10 months ago)

I have a double tub horse poo bulk grow with perlite for humidification thats getting ready to be in full effect in my bedroom of my apartment. The problem is right now at night the temps drop like 5-8 degrees. Id say its about 72 in the room during the day and it probably gets down around 65 at night. Will this be a big deal? I could leave them in the laundry room by the hot water heater, its probably a steady 72 there. The only problem is its a little dusty and shit in there. Which would be better?

remember mushrooms grow in teh wild where the temperature is not a constant 72 degrees haha. anyhoo few degrees doesn't mater. everything off potimum is just that not optimum and will take a littel longer. a little dust shouldn't be a problem. dust isn't bad its if teh rooms has mold growing in it then that could be a danger. its up to you.

If you're really concerned, buy a $20 space heater from Wally World for your room. I find mine does pretty well, however i do agree with the other two that a little fluctuation is not a big deal.
