possibly as long as that suit is 100% tyvek with nothing else mixed.

Have you looked into micropore tape?
Agar has posts about it (Search for micropore by agar)
It is good stuff, cheap, easy to use, and avail at almost any supermarket.

But I would think that suit would work too!

thats exactly what i use. 3M micropore tape. it makes for alot cleaner of a jar than tyvek.

Yep, and there is also a guy on Ebay who sells Tyvek Tarps, he labels them Tyvek Camping Tarps, I got a huge chuck of tyvek this way prior to learning I could order 500 envelopes delivered.

Tyvek is overrated.

The micropore tape is the way to go! If you have coffee filters and polyfill they work by themselves as well.

Hole, fill with polyfill, triple layer of coffee filter, ring, PC.

It has worked fine for me anyways.

Did you try the Post Office? That's where I get my tyvek from. It's those flimsy Priority Mail envelopes that will say DuPont Tyvek on the back. One envelope can cover about 12-16 jars and the best part... it's free.

Same with FedEx drop boxes... just grab a few envelopes. Pretty convenient.
