hello, Im incubating my jars at 70 degrees which is a safe temperature (apparently).. but as soon as the mycelium starts to take over the substrate ..little drops of water start to form inside the jar .. on the mycelium surface.. what am i doing wrong? .. is it normal?.. i dont think it is cause theres just too many water drops right on top of the mycelium
it's like theres too much humidity inside the jar.. should i take the lid off.. should i loosen it? please help me!

idk but right off the bat i can tell you you need to be incubating about 10-15 degrees higher...around 84ish is whats best.

Just a guess, but i think the jars are exausted! Thats why their sweating so much! =P
It would help to know what tek you're using. PF doesent get sweaty... or.. shouldnt, if it is.. you oversaturated your BRF/VERM mix with *too much* water. Can sometimes lead to serious contam, but it can also turn out OK. Its a toss up.
If you're rubbing a grain substrate, then you still have too much water in the jars.
sorry mang

If it's just a little bit of water dont worry about it. It is quite common.

Mycelium produces heat. This causes the interior of the jar to be a few degrees warmer than the surroundings. The vapor pressure of water is a function of temperature, the higher the temperature, the higher the vapor pressure. Now, when the warmer water vapor in the jar meets the colder glass, it condensates.
