I just did shrooms for the first time about 3 weeks ago and it was great. I am not going to talk about the trip its self, instead I have some questions about its affter effects. I was totaly drained for about a week after the trip. I read on erowid that this happens some times if your experience opend doors you wanted closed or had a bad trip or something, but I had a great time. I even had a dog attack me, and I thought it was so funny I couldnt defend my self. It was a golden, it was just messen around. Any ways, one of my friends had the same deal, so what is it with shrooms that drains you?

BTW cant wait to try them again

glad to hear you had a good time...

sometimes after i trip i'm just drained, like it sucks the energy out of me. just listen to your body and relax for a few days.

Of course you are going to be tired if you did a high dose, venturing into another reality is no joke, but you will get over it.
My dog goes crazy to I think animals can sense when we are in an altered state, is like they want some of it to rub off on them.

Tripping doesn't drain my energy nearly as much as getting stoned will. An odd thing I notice is my back hurts after good trip. Nothing a 2 hour nap wont fix!
