oh and my terrarium temp is 90f 95RH is this good or should i lower my temps to 75-80f?

Ice water may be a bit much. Some cool water to rehydrate the cake should be fine, icy might damage the mycelium.
As for the terrarium, are you talking about your incubation chamber, or your fruiting chamber? If you're talking about fruiting, the temp is about 20 degrees too high. 90 is a bit high for incubation too... you should try to avoid going above 85.

lower the temp to between 80 to 85 for incubation 72 to 76 for fruiting.

You can dunk in ice water or under running water from the faucet. The only reason for cold water is to inhibit bacterial growth during the time your substrate is underwater. If you use running water, just let it gently overfill the jar and run over the edges for 6 to 12 hours. 70 to 80F is better for your fruiting environment. 90F is too high for anything we do in mycology.
