What I do is throw a chunk of it (a little goes a long way) into a large pot of boiling water...and boil for 10 minutes then put it on medium low heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes and keep stirring every couple minutes. Then drain it over the sink for about 30 minutes while allowing it to cool. Once its cool I test it by squeezing a handful and if it is too wet I just add some dry vermiculite and mix until it is at field capacity.
Works like a charm..B+ blasts through this stuff

Bring water just to a boil. Pour it over the coir in a cooler. Stir and chop up the coir. Allow to sit for a little while. Mix thoroughly. Check for moisture content and adjust as needed.

PM me with any cultivation questions.

I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.

I just wet it then throw it in the microwave for about 12min or until it is really hot. Cooking times vary on the strength of the microwave.
