refuses to cool down

I pasteurized some worm casting/straw last night, left it to cool overnight.
The plan was use it this morning since I'm leaving for 2 weeks. Everything was ready to go...
But the containers are still extremely hot. After 12 hours they are still too hot... I left them in the freezer since about an hour, they're still hot to the touch. And I have to go in 1.5 hours.
You would think they would cool off after all this time.
Not really sure what to do. I have 2 other trays with proper moisture content but still unpasteurized. And I have 2 more that are pasteurized but still too hot to use (the ones I'm talking about).
I guess I could freeze all four and deal with it in 2 weeks? My spawn is ready now though... Any help appreciated.

Okay to put the question more simply, I think I have 3 options:
1. Spawn while the pasteurized worm casting / straw is still warm. 2. Put pasteurized worm casting / straw in the freezer and spawn in 2 weeks. 3. Put pasteurized worm casting / straw in the refridgerator and spawn in 2 weeks.
What do you think is the best option?

If it were me I would keep it in the freezer for as long as I could before I had to go, then I would spawn it. I would be willing to lose the spawn. You've got 3 others, I have spawned grain to hpoo before it was as cool as I would have wanted and it worked out ok. But I was willing to lose all that spawn. It is hard to tell without feeling it first hand. Putting it in the fridge is probably the safe bet, but it would be nice to come home in 2 weeks to your bags fully colonized. I'd roll the dice, but it's up to you.

Thanks for the advice, that is what I did. Usually I am not under such a time constraint, hehe. The outside edges were cold while the inside was hot, so I mixed them and got a luke warm in the nick of time.
Friggen unusual if you ask me, would have probably taken a full 24 to cool down
