Well i've drove on my scooter while trippin, it was craaaaazy, i was only going about 20 miles an hour or so, but it felt like i was going 90, and i was laughing uncontrollably the whole way, for no apparent reason at all. It was a 45 minute drive, but seemed like an eternity. With my helmet on, i couldnt see my hands, so i sorta knew that i was holding onto the handles, but it felt like i was holding on to nothing but air, it was pretty freaky and scary, i wouldnt do it again. I consider myself lucky to be in one piece. Have any of yall tried playing sports (including sex) while tripping? I'd like to see somebody go bowling while tripping...that would be some funny ass shit.

First some comments: Studip, dangerous, fucked up, DON"T DO IT

When i had my first lsd trip with some friends, some 15 years ago, i have driven my car home (had to get it home i thought). It was something i will never forget. Funny thing (well now, not then) was that while i was driving the cops passed me. It took me an hour before i had to courage to start driving. The rest of the traffic seemd to go at light speed. Well no need to tell more, believe me it wasn't fun and i didn't laugh.

DON'T DO IT, i could easily have died then and taken some other people with me.

I've done my fair share of tripping and driving, and drinking and driving, and trippin and drinking and driving. I did it a fair amount. Then I realised that I had something to live for and I stopped.

Yes, driving whilst tripping can be fun, but, if you value your life, you won't go on the freeway or a main road.
Find a private road where barely any cars ever are.
Try not to drive at night.
Wear sunglasses.
Drive with at least one sober person in the car
If it starts to get too intense (5 grams, I meant to take 2!!!), PULL OVER. Nothing is worse than trying to drive out of the devils nose and hitting a (full) 2 car garage doing 25.
Never HAVE to drive. Drive for the experience.
and for god's sakes, drive an automatic.

damn thats not something thats covered in the DMV handbook. I'd say go ahead and drive if you live WAYYYYYYYYYY out in the country. Dont do it it you are going to drive where there is any traffic. and go very SLOW.

I think the idea adequately explains itself. Driving is a relatively easy task, but it requires near-constant attention and an ability to form rational, good geometric models of the world around you. If you can pull that off while tripping without any mistakes or unexpected responses, you can drive. However, most people seem to have occasionally unexpected results with hallucinogens, so you are of course taking your goddamn life in your hands. I've done it, cruising subtropical islands on a beautiful sunny day and considered it worth the risk---but if I could have been a passenger instead, I woulda been.

Go on a bike ride (like hoffmann) :smile:  my friend took an eighth of mushies and I took a half eighth, and we chilled at his house till we felt the shit kick in.  from there we started our adventure, walking to his grandma's house which had no lights (that was fun as hell) and looking for the room which had his bikes.  turned out only one bike had air, so we agreed to share it, and damn, that bike made all the difference, and flying around on that thing was like floating in air, fun shit.  if you go somewhere public and need to lock it up tho, make sure you KNOW the code (lol, we forgot it ... once on E and that time on the mushies) ... it's no fun to try to think what the combo is when you are trippin out on shrooms.

DON'T DRIVE! EVER!  have somebody drive  you who is sober, and you'll have fun, but driving is risky and stupid and probably not too much fun, being a passenger would be a ton more fun.  i had my friend drive me around when i was bad trippin on mushies, and suddenly everything became better.  if i tried to drive bad trippin i probably woulda gotten really frustrated and made the trip worse and crash ...

yeah, i agree with the general concensus...dont do it. ive only driven trippin once and not really on purpose. a friend and i were at a party, and i had eaten prob. 2 or 3 grams of good cubes at about 8 or 9. it wasnt a visual trip at all until we got halfway to his house when i was driving him home. i could deal with it then, but after i dropped him off it started to get worse. by the time i was about a mile from my house oncoming headlights were moving all over the place with colors shooting in every direction. not fun. come to think of it, the first time i tripped i had to drive too. it was a small dose, maybe a gram or two, but my friend (same kid actually) freaked out, had a bad trip, and made me drive up and down cape cod for 5 hours........ so yeah, tripping and driving dont mix

Once while in detroit getting ready to go back to flint, Me and a few friends decided that if we took the mushrooms right before we left (hour drive) we had fifteen minutes of trip free driving time and we wouldnt even get close to peak. Well the driver (less experianced tripper) started to trip really hard and had me drive. I had not taken a big does but was still starting to trip. Well, I went down the wrong highway about a half hour worth. And kept getting lost. Rediculous, Ive made this trip about 50 times. Finally four hours later and just into peak we were home. But one time a cop flicked on his light and siren right behind us, we started to pull over and he zoomed passed us. What a adrenaline rush.

I hate to admit it but I've done this on a couple of occasiions. Once I was on two hits of acid and had to drive 2 hours home from a concert by myself. Very stupid and I was lucky to make it. I've also done it on low doses of mushrooms and while coming down from higher doses. Its not THAT hard but its still not smart or worth the risk.

Its really hard al night because all the lights literally blind you and you can't tell what is what.

Never again.

Tripping and driving is a bad idea. BUT if you want to experience being in a car (you feel like you're flying even more so) then get a sober driver to drive you and your tripper friends around. A good idea is to go driving out to the country and visit creepy spots, or tranquil nighttime spots, like a beach or lookout. It's nice to know you don't have to walk home (for me it's either stay sober and drive, or drop and walk miles home).
Make a mission out of it and spend all night driving around to different locations, and have a car that has a decent stereo for added fun.

Back when I was a young&dumber pill adict I needed to drive my live in girlfriend to a very important doctor's apointment at The University of Michigan hospital in Ann Arbor. I took some pain pills before we departed south (back then I drove on pills all of the time) heading for Ann Arbor.

It wasnt till I drove by the Detroit City Zoo's giant water tower (very bodly says DETROIT ZOO) that I realized that I missed a turn off and was about 80 miles off track!!!

Dont drive stoned. You never know where you might be driving too.

I remembered when my friend and I was coming back from club Mythos in NC for the Keoki rave. My friend was the driver and that time he had ate about 4G worth of dried cubies. He did not look like he was fucked up at all but he told me he was really fucked. He told me that he was seeing shit like crazy. Every time he see lights it would be moving further away from him and the roads was dancing.. I could not believe that he drove straight as hell that night for 4 hours straight back to Atlanta. Well, we made it back home safe. Tripin' on a road trip is fun; would like to do it again.

I once knew someone who drove while high and he awoke the next morning in a jail cell when the cops roused him for his booking. He asked the booking officer what he was being charged with. He was told felony driving under the influence and vehicular manslaughter. The guy started shittin' bricks and asked the cops who was hurt, they told him three of his passengers had been killed. It must great to come down off of a good buzz to find out you killed your three best friends.

Question: Who did you have in mind that you want to see dead?

i drove one time while tripping on 4 hits of acid. we had started to come down and we went back to my house to get some more. it was crazy. i thought i was in a hover craft. the whole time i was laughing hard and saying i should not be driving which scared my friend but everything worked out all right we were lucky. i would not do it again.

one time on cid a friend and i decided to drive to the convenience store to see what was there. it didn't matter that there was sleet on my windshield that wouldn't come off with the wipers (and i couldn't see) or that my brakes weren't working (uh yeah.....real smart). in other words, don't drive, unless you are in the middle of the desert and it is flat for miles around like in the doors when they went out to the desert on peyote. that's what i wanna do.........

It wasn't me.

When I was 14 I was hit by a drunk driver while riding my bike. The bastard tried to drive away from the scene but some neighborhood people held him till the cops arrived.

Two weeks after graduating from high school, one of my friends I had known since 4th grade was hit by someone under the influence (don't know of what). The guy took off and didn't call an ambulance or anyone. My friend laid in the street for two hours while suffering from internal cerebral hemorrhaging. If the asshole would have had the decency to at least place an anonymous call to someone, may friend may have lived. But who knows, maybe the guy that hit him was on hallucinogens and was communicating telepathically to the intergalactic council of Jesus and the space aliens about when they were planning on saving humanity AND HAD NO GRASP OF REALITY. The cops found the culprit from the car's paint that was imbedded in my friend's body.

A friend of mine drove after he had a couple grams. He waited several hours to make sure it was pretty much worn off. He said he was in complete control, no worries, but he went to the store to get some food and he said everything looked awesome. One thing he said looked especially cool was the bright foil potato chip bags.

I drove on 2 g of mush last night. The coolest thing I have ever seen, aside from the fact that I had to concentrate on shifting and shit. I don't recommend driving and tripping unless you are experienced with tripping and with driving in the area you are. I went on the same route I go EVERY DAY, so I knew what was goin on.

Best thing to remember with driving on any substance is that you're taking someone else's life into your hands as well as your own, so have some responsibility. I figure it can be done, if you have a need to do it.. but dont eat a half quarter and just go joy riding.

Pretty dangerous if you're on a high dose. But I find a drive on mushrooms can be quite pleasant if you live in a not so populated area. Just make sure to wait until AFTER you've peaked.

LSD isn't fun to drive on.
