Primordia Rot?

I have a cake that is not fully colonezed but I think I see a few primorts in it. I read somewhere that this is bad because they can rot and introduce contams to my cake. At this point I have NO visible contams. The cake still needs to be in the closet for about a week. Is it likely that the rotting primorts will introduce any kinda contams? Also I would love to hear casing mixtures that U have had success with. ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Superimposed shots in the The Wall and Pulse.................Man what a trip......................MOESHROOMS

Dude changed your damn signature, makes the screen too wide. So why does your cake have primordia, too low of temps or exposure to light?

Shit is to wide"did I do that? Well to make a long story short.... I thought it was time to pin and about 2 days later I discoverd that only the outside surfaces of the cake were colonized so back in the humid dark 75 degree closet. Do you know if the theory of primort rot contam is true or likely. I can fruit in about two days if I just have to.

I had something similar happen, but for me the cakes stalled. So i took them out, crumbled them up, tossd them in an aluminum pan, and put a layer of verm and coir on top about 3/4ths of an inch thick. Then I moved them over to the fruiting chamber and had a few successful flushes.
It was more of an experiment than anything and luckily it worked out.

A few primordia or pins won't hurt a thing. Just let the cake finish. I've even spawned lots of small pins into manure to make bulk substrates and had no contamination. Just wait it out. RR
