Pre-sterilized shroom compost

Has anyone had experience with pre-sterilized compost designed for shrooms? The stuff is pretty cheap at 3.50/lb. I was just wondering if it was worth it, becuase vermiculite has recently violated EPA standards to not many places carry it where I live.
Also, a few questions pertaining to the compost:
Is pressure cooking really necesarry for pre-sterilized substrate?
How would you recomend getting the already-sterilized substrate into the jars without contams? Glove Box?
If so, should I be soking the jars with bleach water, then wipe them down inside the glove box? Then but substrate in, seal and tape?
I just need the best way to go about this. Thanks in advance.

alot of companies don't carry Verm...because they are ignorant!~
Verm does not have Asbestos in it!~
The EPA monitors all the mines on a regular basis.

i wouldnt PC the compost, i would pastuerize it in the oven. PC'ing kills many of the beneficial bacteria whereas pastuerizing would kill a lot of bad and leave some bacteria(good and bad) to duke it out. its common here to only pastuerize your substrate.
