 Salvia Divinorum Leaf (ripped off?)

Hi there,
Sorry if this sounds stupid however I have only seen Salvia Divinorum leaf once before, and I just recieved my order from a seller on ebay (shamanicorganic-uk), however it is not as ive seen before. The leaf is lightish green in comparison to really dark (as ive seen before). I just need to know if I was ripped off or not.
Does the colour of the leaf mean anything with regard to potency, and if so how much should I smoke for a first time.
(Sorry for all the noobie questions)
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

best way to smoke it is through a bong,take a huge hit hold it in for thirty seconds blow out and immediately take another huge thirty second breath of smoke.you will feel it automaticly.just fill up what ever bong you have and have fun,be safe.good luck

should be fine, yeah just smoke it. Leaf is weak though, but you should still feel something. It could be lighter green because its from a younger plant, but its not a bad thing.

Thanks for the response guys, so the lighter or darker leaf doesnt seem to reflect potency. For some reason I thought the darker the higher the potency.

First off, f*ck eBay, use the Shroomery sponsors. You will never have to worry, they wont rip you off  . If it looks like an actual large leaf it should look like this :

Ive also seen dark powdery looking extracts before; id say near looking like this but more crushed.
