Pretty cool site. "Top 100 American Speeches". Also includes full mp3's of all speeches, some are long excerpts.
If you were to redo this list who would be your Top 5? or 10?
-------------------- "I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me." "Strange memories on this nervous night in Las Vegas. Five years later? Six? It seems like a lifetime, or at least a main era - -the kind of peak that never comes again. San Francisco in the middle sixties was a very special time and place to be a part of. Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run, but no explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant." Hunter S. Thompson.

My hands refuse to stop typing. I swear they're taking over.

That list is totally biased. There are some great speeches there of course but the list is really bias nonetheless. If you don't believe so then just look at the number of DNC addresses compared to the number of RNC addresses listed. And it goes even deeper then that if you look closely. But all lists are biased in the end because someone has to compile them.

um...ok, like I said what would be YOUR top 5 or 10? I really can care less how this list is compiled, it just has some great speeches in it.
