Pinning...

Hey All,
A FOAF has got some pins going, and was hoping some of the experts could make sure this sounds good as for making the most out of the casing. Pins are approx. 3 mm in diameter. Cased BRF/Verm in coir. Humidity is currently at ~98%, temp @ 78F, constant fresh air into water, creating more humidity. Should he go ahead and take the fish tank bubbler out of the water to create a less humid enviornment? Any other ideas on creating less aborts? He's got a pretty even pinset on the casings, so its looking good...ready to start fruiting!

It would probably be fine if you removed the bubbler but if it is working right now ans it looks healthy and keeps growing I wouldn't mess with it. If you experience problems or it seems the little dudes are too wet as they grow then mess with it. Oh yeah tell your friend congrats on the dudes, my uncles pet space wombat loves to see new pins it makes him giddy.....his LARGE trunk of wormcastings/DRF/verm cased with 50/50 which is 1/2 amazonian and 1/2 B+ started pinning today!

Hmm... I wish I had a digital hygrometer. :/ I only got one of them cheap circular ones you get for like 12 bucks at the pet shop...lol It only reads up to 80, so im sorta fucked. If theres condensation on the walls, that means its around 95%+, correct?

Yeah I got some perlite in there righ tnow too... But, I think with the constant gas exchange from the air pump , pumping in dryer air , in addition with the perlite and casings, i think ill achieve a nice humidity...or so I hope. More humid than dry is better, correct? Ive seen some nice ass pics of guys with very high humidity, with good flushes. Next time im just going to case all I can, and stick em in the plastic container w/o perlite, and just mist. Like Anno...
