reptitherm heat coil (petstore that carries reptile stuff) hooked up to a reptitherm temp control dial.
you run the heat coil sidewinding along the bottom of the tank and tape it there with black electrical tape. then plug your heat coil into the the temp control (purchased seperately) and plug the temp control into an outlet. see zoomed (manufacturer).

I was thinking of getting a fish tank, 30 gallon. I would put in water, and a mister for humidity. Also I would put a submersable heater in the water to raise the temp. If I didnt have a lid, would a mister keep the humidity up enough? 2 misters?

when you have normal room temperature, not too cold, not too hot, you can easily save the money for temperature control.
The worst you can install is a temperature control that goes up and down with the temperture constantly. This gives, in high humidity, much condensation and by this much water on the casing. Such a temperature control, ... that you can quite often see in grow reports ... .... is worse than nothing.
