thanx guys....the tek I'm told is straight from stamets 'The Mushroom Cultivator' and the substrate is rye cased with a peat/lime mixture

Tips?
Read TMC about 30 times and it becomes almost second nature!
Nice pics, I am curious about the setup though, looks like a utility sink or something.

hey im about to start my first grow and am going to be growing peurto rican as soon as my syringe arrives, your grow is amazing and I hope mine will be anywhere near as succesfull as your beutifull crop, please post some more ifo about your substrate and tek

thanx guys....I was told the substrate was about 2.5-3 inches deep with a good 1-1.5 inch casing....and yes it's a utility sink..I think you can get them at home depot relatively inexpensively...
btw I didn't mean to double post- I posted it first inadvertently here then reposted when I realized my error...

I was told the temp was kept 70-75 ambient room temp, making the interior a few degrees higher
