stalling

A friend of mine has a pet rock that has about 11 jars incubating in a igloo form cooler about 80 degrees F. At the beginning of this try he had some problems keeping temperatures correct there was alot of variation. Now I have the temp pretty steady but the jars seem to be stalled or drastically slowed over the last few days almost nothing has happened but most of the jars seem to be stopping near the bottom like they are having trouble growing down. I have read some things here about turning the jars upside down, but there seems to be some dispute about weather or not this is a good idea, I just want to know just like animaniacs is this a good idea or bad idea, and if someone wouldn't mind giving me the pros and cons of this method.

thanks in advance

If your jars have stalled then why not flip them and see if it helps. Also keep the lids loose so a little gas exchange can happen. Works for me anyway...bassplayer74
