Here is a baby at about 1.5 months after grafting.

And here he is at about 3 months.

And a different medicinal one:

Here is an areole graft:

And here he is after the areole pupped.

Great grafts. Looks like you have had some practice. Maybe you could give us a run down of your techique and environment.
Thanks for showing us your babies.....

Thats interesting how big the spikes are on that pereskiopsis. All mine just have a lot of fuzz and a few barely visible thorns.

Sweet! Those are some nice grafts, fer sure. How old was the baby in the first two pics when you grafted him? Thanks for sharing...

Thanks folks.
I was extremely lucky to get these guys to turn out so nice...
The top two pics are of the first successful pereskiopsis graft. The seedling used was the only one that sprouted out of 100 seeds. It was a week or two old when the graft was done.
The guys up there were all done around the same time. Before that, only had one successful graft onto a pedro from a year or so ago. But then the itch came on strong!
Really just getting back into cacti, and hope to get some astrophytum and ariocarpu seeds going sometime soon.
I have never seen one of these guys flower, but I hope to this summer.
I read everything I could find on grafting, then went ahead. There were a few failures, but learned from each one.
Clean tools! It's much more important to keep "working cleanly" in mind than "working quickly". Dont water the peresks for a few days before grafting. Keep it in high humidity for a few days to a week after grafting.
