autoclavable bags.

has anyone ever had a problem with their autoclavable bags touching the side of their pressure cooker. ex. melting? thanks

sorry for all the posts. ate some cid for the first time last night and am still feeling off. thanks again

Wrap a towel around your bag then insert into PC.

It depends if you have a gas or electric stove. I have electric, so all of the heat is at the bottom of the PC, which is fine because of the metal rack keeping the bags from direct contact. If you have a gas stove, the flame can come up around the sides of the PC and melt the bags that way.
