Coffee!

So almost everyone drinks coffee at least once in awhile.
I'm a bit strange. I drink tea at home almost exclusively, but I drink coffee when I'm out anywhere, 'cause at least in America its hard to get a good cup of tea.
But Coffee. How do you guys like yours? I dont much go for Cappacino or latte or whatever. I love espresso, and for regular american coffee, I usually like a dark roast or a french roast, black no cream or sugar or anything. If I could make decent espresso, I'd probably drink that more often, but I suck at making it. Its always really bitter.
I love a Mocha too, but I dont drink it much 'cause its a little rich for me. Espresso + Milk + Godiva Chocolate is SO good. So what do YOU guys like?

There's an AMAZING roastery near me that I order from.
I recommend Tony & Frankie's if you like dark. Via Veneto (blend) is also great.
I like mine french pressed with a little bit of half and half and a teensy pinch of raw sugar.

I usually drink it straight unless I have a good tasting liquid creamer to add.. I don't typically add a lot of sugar either. My teas are all imported from Japan, China, or some other asian country. I prefer a nice black tea blend as opposed to coffee. The taste of tea is better to me anyways and seems more healthy. Coffee leaves a wicked after taste and is kind of bad on the teeth, where tea does neither of these things to me.

I drink coffee regularly. Arabica beans, black.
I bought this coffee press a little while ago. It's fantastic, best cup of brewed coffee.

I use a french press unless it's an early weekday morning then I make a pot in my automatic drip coffee maker. As for good coffee though, nothing I've had beats the "Prince of darkness" blend from http://www.osonegrocoffee.com/ Oso Negro. I was introduced to it on vacation in Nelson, BC, where their company is located. It's the good shit for sure.

For my coffee press: 3 heaping tablespoons of coarsely ground coffee with ~900mL of nearly boiling water
That fills 1 normal sized cup that I drink with my breakfast and 1 large insulated type cup that I take to work with me and drink through the morning.
I haven't used the auto-drip since I got the french press.

Ever hear of the coffee made from the poop of a weasle like animal called a Civit? The Civit eats the ripe fruits and poops them out near its home by the plantation. The digesting and excretion of the bean gives very earth tones that coffee critics adore. I would try it out if i wanted to drop 100$ a quarter pound.

I wouldn't drink that no matter how good someone said it was...
just my preference, to not drink out of the ass of a marmot
