Requiem is definitely one of the best, most powerful movies ever. Probably wouldn't be my prime choice of movie to trip to, but I wouldn't say no.
I like to watch cartoons when I trip. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episodes from like the early 90s, Transformers is awesome, and old school Looney Tunes episodes.

Last Saturday I ate up 420 Heavenly Blue seeds (ergine), that night when I arrived at home I watched "Shock of the Century" its a "extreme shock" documentary made by braindamage films.

"Shock Of The Century" "CONTAINS THE MOST SHOCKING FOOTAGE OF OUR TIME! THE 21ST CENTURY IS NOW! WE DARE YOU TO LOOK BACK! WITNESS THE SHOCKING IMAGES OF OUR TIME! THIS FILM cAPTURES THE MOST THRILLING SCENCES OF VIOLENCE IN THE 20TH CENTURY! PEOPLE KILLING EACHOTHER FOR MONEY, GREED AND POWER! CAN WE STOP THIS MADNESS OR IS IT OUT OF CONTROL?"

me neither. I like those kind of movies when i'm stoned though, it adds a whole new dimension. Yellow submarine is amazing when you're stoned. So is Fear and loathing, but I don't have to tell you that. Man I watched that one very stoned when I was about 14 with a few friends, and we were tripping balls.

I can't believe nobody said anything about Bob Ross (from PBS). No that guy could pull anyone out of a bad trip with his happy little trees, creeks, and mountains.
Fav. trip movie though is THE SHINING (sp?)

Final Fantasy: Advent Children, Event Horizon (phucked!), Cars, Finding Nemo (so smooth and eyes on the eyes), Mars Attack, TRANSFORMERS (on acid, wow!), Horton Hears a Who! (the original =)... I didnt like Space Odyssey, and i didnt like Fear and Loathing either. I mean, i love both of the these movies, but not while tripping.

And yo, seriously? Whats with these complicated-ass Lynch flicks while you trip?! Either you guys are geniuses, or im the ONLY one who trips, cuz...yo, I cant even find my shoes on acid, muchless keep up the evolution of mankind (Space Odyssey), and the plot that didnt make sense while i was sober (lynch)- fuck that! Gimme some fuck-tard toons, with little to no plot, and vibrant colors!

Ive watched fear n loathing on acid. Jackass two in theaters on 16 grams fresh of shrooms. And my first time i ever tripped i took shrooms and watched The second matrix(the car chase was mindblowing)actually all of these experiences were mindblowing. Also i find watching a movie helps to prevent spiraling into philisophical madness(which i dont mind but some people do) this is why i think movies are great for first timers. A lil off topic but theres my 2 cents.

I love the books, but that movie has got to be the gayest shit I ever saw in my whole life. The UK TV series from the 80's, too, btw. I switched the DVD off after 15 minutes into the movie, because everyone who was watching it with me started giving me angry looks. What a rim job.
Cheap 70's Hong Kong Kung Fu movies are great to trip to.

Tv is weird vibes. If tripping doesn't show you this, then you are weird vibes.
If I'm tripping trying to watch television, it just sounds like a bunch of crazy insect noises speeding up and slowing down. Everthings just one smeary psychedelic painting. After so many times tripping now, tv is just impossible for me to take seriously. There's so many physical things happening (physical matter bring recorded with a visual device, sound separately recorded with audio devices, editing the 2 together while adding crazy lights, flashing and sounds to illicit a very specific brain response) that in the end, it's a machine capable of regurgitating the information from the recording devices in a code that says "this tiny pixel this color this shade, that tiny pixel this color this shade" giving you the illusion that sarah palin is on your television screen.
At some point I stopped being able to see Sarah palin on the screen and started picking up on the reality of the device. It's weird. Now I look at neighbors watching tv in their houses with crazy bright lights flashing through their house looking like a war is taking place in their house. They're just sittin on their fattases zombied out letting their brain normalize the stimulation.
Were a weird breed us modern humans.

My standard tripping films are Forrest Gump or any of the harry potter films except the deathly hallows movies as they're too dark for a happy trip.

These in no particular order (I've seen all of them either on mushrooms or acid)
- Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas - Enter the Void - Dark City - Coraline on a 3D television - Paranorman (not Paranormal) on a 3D TV

Man y'all need to seriously check out Coraline or Paranorman on a 3D television. Those aren't your normal animated movies; they're both done in stop motion with clay figures/sets/etc.
so everything is real, no computer animation or drawings
it's like watching a play on a small stage in your fucking living room
so fucking nuts
coraline

paranorman

I know this thread is old but I've trip to Dredd (2012) at least once a week. I never get bored of it, someone needs to watch it on blue ray while tripping mad and tell me if you think it's badass to or just fun to watch while tripping. So far, 5 friends agree and have become addicted to it too

Never tripped yet to Alice In Wonderland, but may be planning to do so, there are so much trip songs about that movie. Best tripping movie I saw, hmm, dunno I tripped hard on Singham like 3 month ago, with a friend, we thought that movie was purposed to trip Tried to watch enter the void with shrooms, but eventually was too exited to watch a movie and went out of the room, to see people and rediscover new stuff.

Some old black and white movies are good too, I got into one on TCM while tripping on mushrooms after a long hiatus.

Nature. When you can just watch a blade of grass all day and night lol. I've watched natural born killers and found it very interesting and thought provoking while tripping. I think many would find it disturbing and maybe have a bad trip. I watched fear and loathing the first time in conjunction with doing acid for the first time, which was great, but I don't ever want to watch it now sadly because the first time was too perfect and now it is just some movie lol. I saw rise of the planet of the apes hippie flipping and when Caesar yelled 'book!' I got so stoked I thought I might have a heart attack lol. I really like the immaculate conception of little drizzle when I'm tripping or just all super dabbed out or something, also the imaginarium of doctor Parnassus was cool tripping, inception was good tripping balls, I like watching Jezebel Decibel to start a trip, bike n skate n snowboard vids, ummm....idk. ultimately I got over watching movies tripping cuz I always want to get out of this 'cardboard box' and go run and dig my toes in the dirt
