What if........

If some one were to be inclined to actually grow mushrooms and they wanted to try to create some hybrids how would theygo about doing that. I was wondering if it would be as simple as injecting the substitrate with multiple types of spores.

hybridization is actually somewhat difficult...ill let someone else give details since i dont want to put my foot in my mouth. however i can tell you that mixing two types of spores will only succeed in letting the two strains fight over available nutrients.
