Spore contaminations by sight

Hi everyone, just been making some experiments recently, to see if there are anyways of identifying if a spore solution is contaminated by looking at the way they behave in the water.
I've found that if I added spores to water, and they stayed like large flakes and did not dissolve properly that they were wrong, yet adding a healthy new print, the spores disintegrated very well and colonised the sub succesfully.
Has anyone encountered something similar?

My syringes have clumps in them, until I shake them that is.
I have experienced germination and visible growth within 48 hours in WBS, less than 24 hours with LC using these syringes.
Why you are experiencing that, I really have no idea.

I have never had a problem with a single syringe. I have had a grow stall a little bit but that was because of a low amount of spores in the syringe. I have some creeper colonizing right now that had clumps in the syringe and it started colonizing the substrate withink 48 hours. I don't believe that clumps are a sign of contamination. It is just a sign that there are alot of spores that have been sitting in there a long time.

True, the spores have a tendency to clump when hydrated, but I am talking about the moment in which the spores make contact with the water, you get clumps which do not break apart very well, so it's still a mystery to me.....
