How long to heat up the TiT?

I've got about 6 gallons of water in my TiT, and the 50w aquarium heater has been running about 22 hours. Room temp is about 68 degrees, and the the thermometer in the TiT is showing room temp. I'm trying to bring it up to 84 degrees, as I hope to use the TiT as an incubator before I fruit in it.
For those of you who have owned aquariums or built TiTs before, how long does this normally take?
Thanks, Tengu

Put some weights ontop of the tub to submerge it in water. That should help =)

It depends on several factors.
TIT SIZE

Amount of water inside it. (temp of water added)
Ambient outside air temp.
Wattage of submersible heater.
Insulation padding under TIT.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
50 watt heater isn't much.
Most use a 150/200/250 watt. (more watts, the less work & run time on the heater)
Thanks for the help.
I had weight on the top TiT, although I added some more to have it sink in deeper. Water level is now within 2 inches of the spillover point, so that is pretty optimal I guess.
What I had forgotton was insulation under the lower TiT! Good call, I added a couple of towels down there and we'll see how that works.
No question about 50W being on the small side. Perhaps I'll go look into a bigger heater. Checking an aquarium heater guide leads me to believe I should have a 75W minimum and agar made a good point that going higher just means less runtime on the heater.
I'm headed out of town today, will try to pick up a bigger heater later this week. In the meantime, my LC will just have to make do with whatever heat it can get in this TiT.
Dont buy one them cheap ass ones from Wal-Mart. I had to return them almost once a week cause they would stop functioning correctly. Goto a pet store and get one that you can actually see and control the temp.
This is what I use, Pro Heat II . Pretty much set it and forget it. The external temperature probe on the Pro Heat series is a great thing to have. I can glance over at the digital readout and know that my tub's internal temp is right at 80.
Good news: I deinstalled the 50W and replaced it with a 200W on sale at Petco. Still pretty cheap at $34.99 and within 20 minutes I can already see the temp rising.
Speaking of temp rising, here's even better news: My spores arrived today. Yay! I knocked up two LC jars and into the incubator they go. I put the TiT into a heart-shaped room, turned the lights down reaal low and put on some Barry White music. Left a couple of porno mags by the bedstand. Now it's time for some myco love!
Tomorrow morning I go out of town. When I return, I expect to see my LC jars smoking a cigarette and talking about moving in together.
