I get my information from continuous research and also from years of world travel. I read compulsively from as wide a variety of sources as possible. I am hardly stupid.
I also can make an argument without resorting to ad hominem attacks, and am capable of properly spelling words such as "you're" and "probably."
I hope you thoroughly enjoy your sense of self-righteous indignation while it lasts. If you are lucky, you'll be able to give up your demagoguery before you end up a bitter, bitter person.
As for being specific, the US affords it's citizens more individual freedoms than any civilization in history. I like that in a country.
Secular democracy = a good thing

I wasn't talking to you jackass. All the same, I am a shitty speller, but we are not talking about spelling. I typed that in probally like 40 seconds and didn't really feel that i needed to backtrack and correct myself on a messageboard. Also, what does my spelling have to do with why i think this country is a shithole? As for your opinions, thats nice that you think that way I wish i was easily fooled and corn shwaggled into being a sheep as well. I also do not deny that we have many rights, but our government is far from perfect and totally dicks us over. If we all just except this country as it is it will only get worse, the monster has started since the 1940's and will keep getting more and more powerful and I don't understand why people do not see this. Our government has hidden agendas with every descion they make, they take bribes right in front of our faces to get campagin money, and god only knows what they do behind our backs. The reason why our country got so fucked up in the first place is cause people like you just take it in the ass, smile and reply,"I'm comfortable, I'm happy with my life, so what if they fuck us" Our government has way too much power and they need to be stopped. Also America isn't a secular democracy, look at the republican party, look at a dollar bill "In god we trust", shit it isn't even a democracy we live in a republic. Go circle the world again, next time open your eyes to their culture instead of staying at the holiday inn and watching American television.

Your reply was posted to me, so of course I assumed you were talking to me. Learn to use to software, please. Try clicking on the FAQ button up at the top of your screen. If you were addressing Invertigo, then you should have replied to him instead.
1. The 'in god we trust' printed on the bill doesn't trump the first amendment. Please choose a better subject to get self-righteous about. I'm an agnostic and I don't fall for that kind of crap.
2. I mostly stayed in huts and hovels while doing relief work. Not much television period, but Filipino tv is kind of a hoot.
3. I'm not complacent. I just happen to oppose trendy nihilists and marxists who need to make themselves feel important. Governments will all try to fuck you, sure. I wouldn't be a very good libertarian if I didn't believe that. The entire purpose of the constitution is to limit governmental power.
4. We do live in a democratic, representative, constitutional republic. Democracy itself is not a form of government, unless you count the theoretical model of holding a mass vote for every decision.
5. You need a tinfoil hat. Fast.

Direct democracy, ain't it a great idea. Also, I am young and do plan on joining a militia. And if that doesn't happen I'll prolly just move to a remote area in Australia and govern myself.
