Cubensis? cortinate partial veil?

Here is a flush from a print that was grown out. It is believed to have been from a wild Copelandia.
A few days into the first flush, we had pretty much figured it was a cubensis. It grows just like a common cube. But I've never seen cortinate partial veil on a cube. Anyone?
I have never been on a mushroom hunt, and haven't really done any mush identification. Any help is appreciated.

At this point I was sure it was a cube:

I second the motion. The cubes are in control of the cake.

They are pretty webby, I don't see much persistent ring either.
Nice pinset, btw

thanks guys.
The veil is strange. I have seen cube veils that stretch, and you can then see through them. But these are really cobwebby.
Crappy macro, but this pic still gives a bit better view than the previous:

Yes, there is no persistent ring, in fact, when the veil breaks, it is more attached to the cap, not the stalk.
