LSD Energy

I've tripped on acid a few times, sticking with 1 hit of this particular blotter which had some really intense visuals and such. Theres one thing I find which really hinders my tripping and that is this feeling like I'm gonna explode with energy and it becomes really overwhelming where I have to breathe in realllllly deep and blow it all out slowly. I get it for the entire trip and it sucks hard, and I feel like perhaps this is a side effect of being on the edge of something big and that if I had of increased my dose I could overcome this.
Anyone else experience this with LSD? I've not had anything like it while I've been rolling or anything and I'd like to try shrooms soon to see if it's strictly an acid thing.

I've never experienced what your saying. It might just be your reaction to the experience. I've sometimes felt (esspecially during the come-up) very overwhelmed, but never felt like i was going to explode. Maybe its your blood pressure rising, who knows. Or maybe your not taking acid.

It's a common symptom of ego-loss. Deep breaths are good. Suck in all the energy you can and let it all out, slowly, again and again, and eventually...
well, you'll see.
You may need to up the dose, but trust me, on that last breath when you pour out all your being and there's nothing left... its all just energy, except the energy has no body to disturb, its all just free flowing patterns of energy... and you'll see that's all it ever was.

Good one, stranger.
Anything that bothers you for the whole trip is definitely you not letting go, a blockage of a kind. What you do to get through it could be anything, just try and solve the problem yourself, that you can do, and only you can do it.

Ive experienced this from a mild mild trip from morning glories. Like there was a lot of energy flowing through my brain that I just wanted to smash my head through a brick wall. All the energy was making my brain tickle.

You must have intense-ass acid...yeah it sounds like ego death...just let go instead of breathing, relax like at war if ennemies are checking bodies and you wanna act dead...are you talking about kind of waves that pull you in/out...
Does it last all the trip or a certain portion, when its effects are getting strong?...do you get out of this state while slowly goin down?

These waves of energy can also be felt during mystical work. Not to sound too "new agey" but both psychadelics and mystical states release energies that have been blocked or locked in the body. They also connect you to larger energy sources.
The breating advice is right on, but also realize that you can control and direct this energy. Try visualizing it as a bright white light and circulate it around your body...this technique is called the fountain of light in the western mystery tradition, and is very useful for clearing up the channels of energy, and teaching you how to direct and control it for your own creative/empowering ends.

I really need to get around to reading that. Just skimming through it, one part that stands out (in addition to the ego-death descriptions). Is the 3rd bardo - sexual visions.
I've noticed that ever since my 3rd LSD trip - my visuals are overwhelming sexual in nature. Usually a very sensual interlocking of bodies. Its like the world around me forms into a giant interlocking orgy - but not in a vulgar sense.

Sorry I never got back to this thread guys. Basically the energy was felt after the come up and lasts the whole trip, I was really trying to fight the energy but I realise I need to let go. There was waves of energy hitting me in the come up and then it becomes constant, I guess from this thread all I can deduct is that I need to trip again and really let go, but I'm not sure if it's ego loss though but it may well be. It makes me wanna crank up The Doors and roll around on the carpet until I melt into it.
I realise my reply is kind of shitty but when I trip again and release my tight grip from the branch I hang on I'll let you guys know how it goes.

yes let go...it is ego loss.
before those waves happen...you will probably see the visuals have a luminous background now....you canm let go as soon as the first wave comes, the more you wait the more painful it might be.
But after you are free. Its like your not involved in human 'bullshit' anymore.

The more you fight something, the longer what you are fighting will last.
