Colonized casing in martha FC for 3 days, RH is over 95% 24/7 & RT at low 70. Is it too wet to fruit if I see water on myc ? Any input r welcome, THX ~ !

Casings shouldn't be sitting in 95% RH, try lower, 75% is said to be optimal by some but can be as low as 70% depending on temp range. If you know about temps you know about temps; can't say anything for the RT of 70 (which sounds reasonable)~ but the reason you have water on your myc is because your RH is so high - you using a casing layer? It's thickknotted above the layer well enough so that you can see water on it? RH shouldn't be that high, though. and I shouldn't be this high. hell.

Ty for the fast reply, and yes, I am using a casing layer and the myc is pretty thick on top thats why I can see water on it. guess I will need a timer for US cool mist.

Well hey that sounds like healthy knotting, bro. Drop your RH and it should fruit if it's not too late. Why the hell hasn't anybody else helped you out with this? People're usually quick to jump on simple casing problems ~ unless you're imaginary and this thread's part of my dream.

Wiped out some water on the casing earlier & droped RH to 90%, really pain in the ass to keep RH constant without a timer, hopefully it will work !

There shouldn't be water sitting on the casing. It could be from mist shooting out of the cool mist. Check out this post. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...rue#Post5320693
To get a good pinset it helps to have the humidity around 95%.
Once pins form then drop it down to 85%.

be wary of ultra sonic foggers, if left on for too long time they get your shit WET fast, creatings puddles on the casing.

Great advice! He definitely doesn't want to drop the RH to 75% at this stage or any stage for that matter! (doubledutch)

I am constantly running my cool mist 24/7, and my ultra sonic 20 minutes every two hours.
My tube connecting the cool mist and martha is more then long enough to get rid of the water droplets.
I never have my RH below 95%.
I would continue to leave the cool mist on 24/7, just make the tube longer. The constant air exchange is GREAT when it comes to producing nice thick fruits. Goodluck.
You shouldnt have spots of water on your casings, but.. you shouldnt of whiped them either =(
