My first grow didn't turn out so hot, but I'd like to keep the strain going so I don't have to get it again. I'm going to try this regardless, but I wanted to know if anyone has had success with a Substrate 2 Liquid Culture (like G2G) with taking a chunk of myc, mixing it with a little distilled water and making a syringe of the semi myc water to inoculate a LC. I'm almost positive it will work on the basis of 'why not?'.
Is past-incubation myc still able to inoculate a LC? I would suppose so.

i just did this today. instead of putting the chunk in a syringe, put it directly in the LC. well see how it turns out.

try to spawn what's left of my casing to more substrate? I'm sure that would produce less than desirable results. I think just starting from scratch with what I have learned is the best bet.

Oh man, I'm such an idiot. That was what I had first thought of 2 days ago when I had decided that it was the best option to keep it going as an LC. When I finally got down to making this thread today, I had forgotten about just dropping a bit of myc in through the tubing. Thanks for reminding me, I was about to spend a lot more time and effort doing it with a syringe. Thanks stelthvue.
